What a regulator does in the AWTS
A regulator in the Australian Wildlife Traceability System (AWTS) is a Participant type with oversight of certain species and specimens. Fishers, aquaculture facilities and exporters record their activity in OriginsNext, mostly through the AWTS mobile app in the field, and you review that recorded activity on the desktop platform. You can also issue and record the licences and permits you are responsible for.
What you can see, and why
What you can see as a regulator is decided by the species you regulate, not by your job title. You see Products (coral specimens) and their Evidence for the Product Templates (species and varieties) your organisation owns or that have been shared with you, for example shared by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW). If a list or tab is empty, either there is no data yet, or that data is outside what you are permissioned to see.

Most regulator work in the AWTS is one of these five reviews. Each has its own article with the steps:

Desktop and the AWTS mobile app
All five reviews above are done on the desktop platform in a web browser. The AWTS mobile app is the field tool used to tag, receive, frag, breed, update and pack coral, and it is mainly used by fishers and facilities. As a regulator you can also use the mobile app's View Coral action to scan a tag during an inspection and open that specimen's details, for the species you are permissioned for.

Common list controls
Every list you use as a regulator (Participants, Products, Evidences and Orders) shares the same controls: a search box, filters, sortable columns, a column picker, an adjustable row height and pagination. You can also save a configured list as a reusable view. Learning these once covers all four screens.
