What can a regulator see about a participant and its products?

How a regulator user views a participant's details, products, and the permits and licences associated with them.

A regulator is a Participant type with oversight of certain Products or species where a clear data disclosure is known by the participants sharing the data with the regulator. From a Participant's record, a regulator can review that Participant's details and the Products, Orders, permits and licences relevant to what they regulate.

Important: A participant will know if their data is being shared with a regulator and the participant will first need to agree to the regulators Data Collection Statement. No data is shared with a regulator without the participants knowledge.

An example is the Coral Traceability Solution where Fishers add data to OriginsNext for the explicit purpose of sharing their data with the government.

View a Participant the regulator oversees

A regulator can open a Participant from the Participants List to see the Participant's details and a summary of their activity, such as their product varieties, recent Orders and key details.

Products, permits and licences

From the Participant's record, a regulator can view a list of the Products the Participant has produced (for the Product types the regulator is permissioned for) and the permits and licences associated with that Participant or their Orders.

Note: A regulator only sees Products and Evidence for the Product types (Product Templates) they own or that have been shared with them.
