The EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) compliance pack is the report OriginsNext generates from an Order's EUDR report requirement, for example Brazil Wood EUDR Report. You generate it on the Order's Compliance tab. You can then view it on screen, download it as a PDF, download its geodata, add supporting documents, regenerate it after changes, and share it with the other participant in OriginsNext. You decide when the report is ready: it can be generated while items are still outstanding.
Generate the EUDR report
To generate the EUDR compliance pack for an Order:
Open the Order and go to the Compliance tab.
Click the report requirement, for example Brazil Wood EUDR Report. Its card opens with the heading Generate Brazil Wood EUDR Report and the line "Generate, view and submit your order evidence".
Under Actions, the first row shows "Evidence not generated". Click Generate.
Once the report is generated, the card's Actions show Generated on with the date and time, and the Delete and Regenerate buttons. On the Order's Overview tab, the Order evidence card shows how many evidences have been generated, for example "1 out of 1 evidences generated".
What the report shows on screen
The generated EUDR report shows these sections on the Order's Compliance tab:
Section | What it shows |
Report details | Apply To (the Order), the B/L number and Invoice number if you entered them on the Order, the Evidence ID and the Generated date. |
Participant Details | Who issued the report: Issued by, the participant's address and ID. |
Products | Each product with its scientific name, common name, HS code, country of production, quantity and supplementary quantity. |
Locations | The Order's locations on a map, with Download geodata. |
Supporting documents | Documents attached to the report, with Add document. |
Supporting Evidence | Every supporting requirement, grouped as on the Compliance tab, with a count per group and a status per item. |
Note: Statuses in the Supporting Evidence table, such as Non-compliant, Partially compliant and Fully compliant, are the platform's own check labels. They show how much of what the template asks for is recorded in OriginsNext, not whether the Order meets any regulation.
Download the PDF and the geodata
You can download the EUDR compliance pack and its geodata from the generated report:
Click Download PDF to download the compliance pack. The PDF is named after its report template and shows the organisation that generated it. It contains a summary, the products, the origin locations, traceability coverage, evidence coverage, a chapter for each location and participant, and the attached documents, so it can run to many pages.
Click Download geodata in the locations section to download the geographic data of the report's locations.
Downloads are for your own records. To give the report to the other participant on the Order, share it in OriginsNext, as described below.
Add supporting documents
To add supporting documents to the EUDR report, go to the Supporting documents section of the generated report and click Add document.
Regenerate or delete the report
The EUDR report reflects the Order's data at the time it was generated. After you add evidence, add a boundary or change the Order, click Regenerate on the report card to build the report again with the latest data. Click Delete and confirm to remove the generated report. This permanently removes the generated evidence and all its data, and cannot be undone.
Note: Where the EU filing feature is available, the report card also shows Submit to the EU, which sends the statement to TRACES through your organisation's TRACES connection. If you have already submitted, regenerating the report does not update the statement already in TRACES.
Complete is your decision
You decide when an EUDR report is ready. A report can be generated, and the Order completed, while some supporting items are still outstanding, and optional requirements can be left unmet. Labels such as Complete describe the platform's own checks, not whether the Order meets any regulation.
Share the report with the other participant
To share the EUDR report, go to Share with the other participant ("Share this evidence and the order details.") on the report card and click Share. This opens the same Share order panel as the Order's Sharing tab. Choose the organisation in Share with, as it is not filled in for you, then click Share. The organisation you share with then sees the report in OriginsNext.
