Generational tracking shows the lineage of a Product: the parent it came from and any offspring produced from it. It applies to Products created through breeding or propagation, where new generations are linked back to their parents. Each generation is labelled, for example P for the original parent, then F1, F2, F3 and so on for successive generations.

The Generation value appears in the Generation column of the Products List (Product Traceability > Products) and on the About card of the specimen's Overview.
