How do I generate, view and share an SER for an Order?

Generate an SER record for an Order from the Order Evidences tab, view or regenerate it, add an Export Declaration Number, download/print and share it.

A Specimen Export Record (SER) is a compliance record you can generate for an Order from the order's Compliance tab. Once generated, you can view it, regenerate it if the Order changes, record an Export Declaration Number, download it, and share it with the Buyer.

Generate the Specimen Export Record

On the Order, open the Compliance tab. Under Generate Specimen Export Record, generate the record. The generated SER then appears on the same Compliance tab, showing who it was issued by, the Buyer details, an Evidence Data section, and the Products it covers (with their source code and ordered/actual counts).

View, regenerate and add an Export Declaration Number

The generated SER is shown on the Compliance tab. If the Order details change, click Regenerate so the SER reflects the latest information. An Export Declaration Number can be recorded with the SER.

Download, share and attach documents

Click Download to download or print the SER from its predefined template. To share the SER with the Buyer, share the Order from its Sharing tab; a Buyer the Order is shared with can then view the generated SER. You can also attach supporting documents to the SER using Add document. For sharing the Order, see How do I view and manage the Sharing permissions in an Order?
