You can view the full traceability profile of any product by selecting it from the Product List. This includes its summary, journey, ownership history, evidence, and data series.
Steps to view a product
From the Product List, click on a specific product row.
You will be taken to the Product Details page, starting with the Overview tab.
Product Overview
The Overview tab displays key information about the selected product using a series of data cards:
Card | What it shows |
Product Card | The product's unique ID, current owner, and current location. |
Product Transformation Summary | The input-output flow of how this product was created or used. Click the expand icon to open the Product Transformation Chart and hover over nodes for details. |
Locations Card | A geospatial timeline of where the product has been. |
Ownership History | Prior and current owners of the product. |
Data Series Card | Graphs sensor or periodic data (e.g. temperature, humidity, weight) captured throughout the product's lifecycle. |
Note: The Data Series Card only appears if data exists and you have permission to view it.
For biological products, the Overview also shows a Scientific Name, CITES Appendix, Generation, country of origin, harvest trip dates and measurements such as length and height, along with any photos captured for the product. (A product's source code appears on the related Order and Specimen Export Record lines rather than on the specimen Overview.)
To follow lineage across generations, see How do I view a Product's generational tracking?
Journey tab
The Journey tab lists all traceability events linked to the product. These include creation, transport, certification, or transformation activities.
Tip: You can use hyperlinks in event cards to navigate to related products or events.
