You can edit a traceability event after submitting it, but only events your own Participant Organisation created. You do this from the specimen detail screen in View Coral on the Australian Wildlife Traceability System (AWTS) mobile app. Open the specimen first.

Find an editable event
On the specimen detail screen, look at the Traceability events list. An edit (pencil) icon appears only next to events your Participant Organisation created. Events created by other organisations have no edit icon and cannot be edited.
Edit and save
Tap the edit (pencil) icon next to the event, change the fields you are allowed to edit (see below), then tap Edit. The screen briefly shows 'Updating…', then reloads on the specimen detail screen with your change applied.
What you can edit for each event type
What you can change depends on the type of event:
Tag wild (registration): Notes, Weight, Photo, Tagging method, and (for a manual harvest) the harvest trip dates.
Coral fragging: Notes, Length, Height, Weight, Photo.
Coral spawning: Notes, Settlement date.
Update specimen: Notes, Length, Height, Weight, Photo.
Receive coral / Arrived at facility: Notes.
Tag replacement: Reason, Notes.
Deceased: Notes.
Two rules to know
Edit fragging and spawning from a child specimen. You can only edit a fragging event from one of its fragments, and a spawning event from one of its settlement plates. Open the child specimen and edit the event there. If you tap the pencil on the parent, the app asks you to open a fragment or plate instead.
Weight is required for measurements. When editing measurements, you must enter a Weight to save a new Length or Height.
