Tagging coral registers a newly harvested or purchased specimen in the Coral Traceability Solution (CTS) and starts its traceability record. You tag coral from the Tag Coral tile on the Home screen.
Where to start
On the Home screen, tap the Tag Coral tile. What you see next depends on your harvest records:
If you have harvest records, the Select harvest record screen opens. From there you can pick an existing record or use the Enter harvest or Enter purchase buttons at the bottom.
If you have no harvest records, the manual harvest entry flow begins.
Choose how to tag
There are three ways to provide the coral's origin. Each guide below walks the full tagging flow from origin through to Register coral:
What gets saved
Each tagged specimen is saved with a unique identifier (UID) matching the tag ID, the Fisher (your participant organisation), the origin details, the Species, the Variety (if you selected one), and a generation value the system sets automatically (for example, 'Wild' or 'W'). You can view the specimen on the web app in the Product List.
