How do I view Location Polygons in an Order?

Inspect mapped location polygons linked to Order-level Evidence

A Location can store its geographic boundary as one or more polygons. You can view those boundaries on a map in a few places: on an Order's journey, within an Order's Evidence, and on a Location's own record.

On an Order's journey

Open the Order and go to the Locations tab (the Order journey). Switch the visualisation to the Map view to see the Order's locations on a map.

For more on the Locations tab, see Where can I see the product locations in an order?

Within an Order's Evidence

If the Order's evidence requirements include a location-based Evidence Template that requires polygons, the boundaries also appear within the Evidence. Open the Order and go to the Evidence tab, then expand the relevant requirement (for example Location Polygons or a Deforestation Free Assessment). It lists the locations covered, with their Location ID, Location name, Participant and Status. Select a location to open its Evidence Details, where the location's polygon is shown on the map, alongside the location details, the evidence data and any evidence documents.

For how location-based requirements work, see What is an Order Evidence Requirement?

On a Location

Open the Location from Ecosystem Registries > Locations. Its Overview shows a map of the site. Polygons are uploaded when a Location is created (GeoJSON/JSON or a CAR-formatted ZIP) and cannot be changed afterwards.

For how polygons are uploaded, see How do I add a Location's boundary polygon?
