Where can I see the product locations in an order?

View mapped supply chain locations connected to an order through product traceability events

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Locations tab helps you explore and validate the physical locations associated with the products in an order, including chain of custody locations for inputs of products in the order. This includes farms, processors, storage sites, ports, and more, all linked to the order through traceability events from either actual or planned product allocations.

To view the location data for an order:

  1. Open the relevant order from the Orders list.

  2. Select the Locations tab from the top navigation menu.

  3. Use the Sankey chart at the top of the screen to:

    • View the product journey across location types, such as farm, processor, warehouse, or port.

    • Understand traceability completeness (e.g. “90% Traceability to Farm”) — any gaps will display as warnings (e.g. Traceability gap).

    • Use colour-coded segments to quickly identify missing data or successful linkages.

  4. Review the location list below the chart:

    • View details like Location name, Type, Participant, Product type, and Traceability stage.

    • Click into a row for more detail about the associated product journey or compliance requirements.

  5. Use filters to narrow the list by traceability gaps, product types, or evidence status.

  6. Interact with the map view on the right-hand side to:

    • See the spatial distribution of linked locations.

    • Click a location icon for metadata like location ID, owner, and country.

    • Pan and zoom to inspect individual or overlapping locations.

This view helps users ensure complete and credible geographic traceability by connecting order data with mapped locations and identifying any gaps that may require follow-up or data requests.
