Where can I see the product locations in an order?

View mapped supply chain locations connected to an order through product traceability events

The Locations tab of an Order shows its Order journey: the current and past locations that the products, and their input products, passed through. This builds up as products are allocated to the Order (usually through traceability events), so locations appear once allocation has happened.

View the Order journey

Open the Order from the Orders list and select the Locations tab. The journey is listed in a table, with each row showing:

  • Location ID and Location name.

  • Location type (for example, Farm, Mine, Mill, Warehouse or Port).

  • Product type: the order product(s) that passed through that location.

  • Stage: the role the location played in the journey, such as Creation, Transformation or Storage.

Use the search box to find a location.

See it as a map or a flow diagram

Beside the table, a Map / Flow toggle changes how the journey is visualised. Map shows the locations geographically. Flow shows a Sankey flow diagram of how the products moved between the locations, coloured by product type, which you can view by quantity or percentage.

For how to read the flow diagram, see How do I read the Order journey flow diagram?

Note: if the tab shows “No products allocated”, the Order journey locations will appear once products have been allocated to the Order.
