What do the Evidence status labels mean?

Understand how to interpret Evidence status indicators for your Orders and Products

OriginsNext uses a few status labels to show how complete and current an Order's evidence is. The label and where it appears depend on what you are looking at:

Status

Where it appears

What it means

Action required

Order Compliance tab (requirement)

The requirement is not yet satisfied; evidence still needs to be generated, added or completed.

Complete

Order Compliance tab (requirement or supporting requirement)

The requirement (or supporting requirement) is satisfied.

Incomplete

Order Compliance tab (supporting requirement)

A supporting check within a requirement is not yet met.

Valid

An Evidence record

The evidence is within its effective and expiry dates.

Active / Archived

Evidences and Evidence Templates lists

Whether the record or template is in active use or has been archived.

Optional

Order Compliance tab (supporting requirement)

The supporting requirement is optional, as set on the Evidence Template, and shows an Optional badge. If it is not met, it stays listed but does not affect the Order's compliance status, so the Order can still reach Complete.

These labels describe OriginsNext's own checks, not whether anything meets a regulation. You decide when an Order is ready: an Order can reach Complete with optional requirements unmet, and a report can be generated while some items are still outstanding.
