Events are used to update or edit a Product in OriginsNext.

To edit an existing product you will need to edit the event that has originally provided the data point you would like to edit. E.g. an Object event specifying metadata.

You can do this by submitting a new version of the Event with the same Event ID and updated data. If your permissions allow you to edit the event, the data will be updated accordingly. The original event record is maintained for audit purposes.
