You can update existing evidence records in OriginsNext to correct details, extend validity, or update evidence metadata. Only users with the appropriate permissions can make edits.
Steps to edit an evidence:
From the Evidence list, locate the evidence record you want to update.
Click on the row to open its details.
In the top-right corner, click Actions > Edit.
Fields you can edit:
Modules – Adjust which modules the evidence is linked to
Evidence Data – Update metadata like scheme, certifier, or evidence ID
Evidence Notes – Add or modify comments or additional information
Validity Period – Extend or revise the start and end dates
Apply To – Change the products, locations, or product templates the evidence is applied to
Note: Changes to evidence records are tracked for auditing and traceability.
