Products in OriginsNext are created/generated automatically when an associated Event is submitted. This can happen in two ways:
System Integration – A third-party platform in your supply chain sends product data directly into OriginsNext.
CSV Upload – Users upload product data manually using a formatted CSV file.
What happens during product generation?
When a valid product creation event is processed, OriginsNext generates a new product record in the system with a unique identifier. This record includes metadata such as product type, location, quantity, and ownership.
