Events in OriginsNext can be created/generated in two primary ways:
System Integration – Events can be automatically created through integration with third-party platforms in your supply chain. Find out about the API integration schema here
CSV Upload – Users can manually upload events using structured CSV files that match the required template.
Why does this matter?
Generating events allows organisations to capture key supply chain activities and attach them to product records. This supports compliance, traceability, and data transparency across the ecosystem.
Note: You can choose to make each event Public (visible to your ecosystem participants) or Private (visible only to your organisation). This ensures full control over the information you share.
