Each Event in OriginsNext captures structured data used for compliance, traceability, and analytics. The key fields include:

  • Event Name (e.g. Harvest, Processing, Storage)

  • Event Type (e.g. Commission, Dispatch)

  • Event Time – timestamp of when the event has occurred

  • Event Recorded Time – timestamp of when the event was recorded

  • Event ID – a unique identifier for the specific event

  • Location – the Location where the event has occurred.

  • Product(s) involved

  • Responsible Organisation or Participant

  • Visibility permissions for the event

  • Data Source and Data Qualifier – specifying the source system of data as well as level of qualification from self-reported to system-generated

  • Metadata – additional details captured on each specific event
