Favourite species let you mark the coral species you work with most on the Coral Traceability Solution (CTS) mobile app, so they are easy to find. You manage them on the Favourite species screen.
Open Favourite species
To open Favourite species, tap the menu icon (≡) in the top-left corner of the Home screen, then tap Favourite species. The screen shows a Search species field at the top and a scrollable list of species (for example, 'Acropora spp.' or 'Acropora cerealis'). Each species has a star icon: an empty star (☆) means it is not a favourite, and a filled star (★) means it is.

Favourite or unfavourite a species
To change your favourite species:
To add a favourite, tap the empty star (☆) next to a species. The star becomes filled (★).
To remove a favourite, tap the filled star (★) next to a species. The star becomes empty (☆).
Your changes are saved automatically.
Search for a species
To find a species quickly, tap the Search species field and type part of the name (for example, type 'mille' to find 'Acropora millepora'). The list filters to show only matching species. If nothing matches your search, the list shows no results.
