How do I add a Health Certificate to an Order?

Add the Health Certificate as an evidence requirement on a coral Order, then add the issued certificate against it.

A Health Certificate is one of the documents an export Order can require. In OriginsNext it is set up as an evidence requirement on the Order, so the Order itself tracks whether the certificate is present, rather than the document sitting in someone's inbox. You add the requirement first, then add the issued certificate against it.

Step 1: Add the requirement to the Order

To add the Health Certificate requirement:

  1. Open the Order and go to the Compliance tab.

  2. Click Edit on the Order compliance requirements panel. If you are creating the Order, you can reach the same step by clicking Create order and add requirements.

  3. Under Evidence Requirements, search the Evidence Templates for Health Certificate. The list shows each template's Name and Issuer.

  4. Tick Add against it.

  5. If the certificate is issued to the buyer rather than to you, tick Counterparty can generate so they can supply it.

  6. Save.

The Health Certificate now appears on the Compliance tab. Until the certificate itself is added, it shows as Evidence not yet added.

For requirements in general, see How do I add compliance requirements to an Order?

Step 2: Add the issued certificate

A Health Certificate is a document, so you attach the issued certificate rather than having OriginsNext generate one for you. The action on the Compliance tab is Add, not Generate.

To add the certificate:

  1. On the Compliance tab, select the Health Certificate requirement.

  2. Click Add in the actions list.

  3. In the Add Health Certificate Evidence panel, check the evidence template and set Apply to.

  4. Complete the evidence details shown for this template.

  5. Under Supporting documents, drag and drop or browse for the issued certificate. You can upload more than one file.

  6. Click Add evidence.

The certificate is now attached to the Order and its status updates on the Compliance tab. To change it later, open it again and use Edit evidence.

If Health Certificate is not in the list

If Health Certificate is not in the Evidence Templates list, it has not been set up yet. It has to exist as an Evidence Template in your organisation before it can be added as a requirement, and an Administrator needs to add the template first.

To create the template, see How do I add an Evidence Template?

The traceability requirement is separate

An Order can also carry a traceability requirement, which traces every product back to a chosen type of origin location. It is set separately, and adding, changing or removing the Health Certificate does not affect it.

To see all the evidence on an Order, see How do I view Evidence linked to an Order?
