The Home screen of the Coral Traceability Solution (CTS) mobile app is your launchpad. Each thing you can do appears as an action tile, and tapping a tile starts that action. The header shows the OriginsNext logo and the menu icon (≡).
The action tiles
The Home screen can show these action tiles:
Action tile | What it does |
View Coral | Look up a coral specimen by scanning its tag. |
Tag Coral | Register newly harvested or purchased coral. |
Frag Coral | Record fragmenting a colony into new specimens. |
Breed Coral | Record breeding (sexual reproduction) and spawning batches. |
Update Coral | Record growth, mortality, or removing coral from stock. |
Pack Order | Pack coral against an order. |
Receive Coral | Record coral received from another participant. |
Replace Tag | Replace a damaged, lost or unreadable tag. |
Which tiles you see
View Coral always appears on the Home screen. The other tiles appear only when their favourite action is turned on, and the layout rearranges to fill any gaps.

Start an action
To start an action, tap its tile. Most actions then take you to a scanning screen where you record specimens.
