How do I log in with multi-factor authentication (MFA)?

Administrators log in to the CTS mobile app by entering a verification code from an authenticator app.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second security step to login. On the Coral Traceability Solution (CTS) mobile app, Administrator accounts with MFA enabled enter a verification code from an authenticator app after their password. This article applies to Administrator users who have MFA enabled.

Before you start

Before you log in with MFA, you need an authenticator app (for example, Microsoft Authenticator) installed and already set up for your CTS account on your device. [SME REVIEW: confirm which authenticator apps are supported and where MFA is first set up for the mobile app.]

Log in with MFA

To log in to the CTS mobile app with MFA:

  1. Open the CTS mobile app and tap Login.

  2. Enter your email in the Enter email field and tap CONTINUE.

  3. Enter your password and tap Login.

  4. When prompted for a verification code, open your authenticator app and find the current code for your CTS account.

  5. Enter the current verification code in the MFA prompt and complete the login.

After the code is verified, you are signed in and taken to the CTS Home screen.

If your verification code is not accepted

If you enter an incorrect verification code, an error message tells you the code is incorrect and you stay on the MFA verification screen. Verification codes change every few seconds, so always enter the current code. If it still fails, check that your device clock is accurate.

Note: MFA applies to Administrator accounts that have MFA enabled. If you log in with just an email and password, see How do I log in to the CTS mobile app?
