Evidence in OriginsNext is verifiable documentation or data that supports a compliance, sustainability or operational claim. It can be applied to participants, products, locations, orders or product templates. Common types include:

Sustainability declarations | Self-declared sustainability or deforestation-free statements. |
Legal or customs documentation | Permits, licences and export or customs documents. |
Each type is set up as an Evidence Template and reused across the platform. Evidence can include metadata such as the issuer, validity period, file attachments and notes. The template's type determines which fields appear when you create or apply the evidence.
